Cannes Snapshots

I just came back from Cannes this Friday and think I probably need about a week or two to recover from the lack of sleep, sore feat due to walking and dancing around in heels, shooting and managing work, emails and editing all at the same time. It's been an absolutely lovely time away and I wish I could do it all over again (well, perhaps after a few weeks of catching up on my sleep...) but I guess that will have to wait until next year.

I ended up staying in Cannes for a little bit longer than expected. After a week of working for Chopard for the very first time I was asked to stay a couple of extra days in Cannes together with Instagram – which is something I obviously didn't say no to. I even managed to squeeze in an hour on the beach one morning which I think did me very good. If you've followed along through Instagram and via Snapchat you already know all of this though...

I ended the trip to Cannes by going to the amfAR gala for the very first time in my life. After looking at photos and dreaming about Hotel du Cap for as long as I can remember this was like a dream come true! Passing by Leonardo DiCaprio, looking over to see Orlando Bloom, washing my hands next to Heidi Klum, getting hugged by Karlie Kloss, dancing along to Katy Perry singing, listening to Kevin Spacey and accidentally bumping into Uma Thurman were just a couple of moments that I still have to make sure I wasn't dreaming about but actually lived. Crazy, no? I can't wait to share more photos from this time!
