London Town
Before Paris Fashion Week begun, I went to London for a couple of days. Last time I was in London felt like aaaages ago. I can't even remember when it was... Was it 2 years ago now or maybe even 3? Either way, it's been too long is what I'm trying to say. This time I went to London for a little project together with Nars, who launched their new make-up collection in collaboration with one of my favourite fashion brands Erdem. After the time with Nars I decided to stay on for a special charity event, hosted by Natalia Vodianova, and a little bit of free-time in the city before heading back home again.
We had the greatest experience in London together with Nars and I particularly loved going backstage at Erdem before the show during London Fashion Week started. Backstage before a fashion show is always a crazy scene (and this time was no different) but it was exciting to see the make-up artists put the new Nars x Erdem products to use just hours after the collection launch. I've recently felt a little more gutsy when it comes to make-up and I'm definitely up for trying out new looks more now than I was before. I fell in love with this dark lip look they created for the show, worn together with a glassy eyelid (which I actually ended up trying out myself for the Nars x Erdem dinner later that evening). I'm definitely doing it again!
I then decided to stay in London for a couple of days to attend the charity "fund fair" hosted by Natalia Vodianova for her Naked Heart Foundation. I wore this incredible Georges Hobeika dress together with sparkly jewellery pieces by Messika. I felt like a sparkly little diamond for the evening! I definitely need to go back to London soon again – next time to explore the city, eat my way through the different neighbourhoods (their food scene is just insane) and just enjoy a little bit. So hopefully it won't be too long until next time!
