After two or three very shitty weeks (excuse my French...) due to many different reasons I decided that I had enough and needed to break this awful pattern. And what better way to do so than with a trip to beautiful Rome? As soon as I feel down, stressed or as though I'm under too much pressure Rome always pops up in my mind and the fantasies begin. This time though, I decided to pull the trigger and to actually do something about these Italian dreams. So less than one week before leaving I booked a spontaneous trip to Rome together with one of my favourite people.

Rome together with a girlfriend definitely cured my stress, feelings of nothing going the way I wanted it to and this annoying time. I'm not back in (a rainy) Paris feeling much lighter and full of happiness (pasta, gelato and pizza) from the best trip ever. We went without no plans whatsoever. To just enjoy, stroll aimlessly around the city (which you could see if you followed along via Snapchat) and have lots of fun. I don't think there's any better medicine for the blues than a bit of Italy with your friends!

We scootered around the city (which you haaaaave to do if you haven't already) together with my dear friend Annie, drank numerous amount of spritz and ate more desserts than I've ever had in one sitting before. Rome, I miss you terribly already but hopefully it won't be too long until I'm back again.
