One of my favourite parts of Stockholm is Gamla Stan (literally “Old Town” in Swedish). It’s colourful, charming and full of cute little alleyways. Yes, it’s also packed with tourists on most days – and kids on field trips with their schools – but despite this, it is possible to see this part of the city without panicking in a sea of people. As this is one of the prettiest parts of Stockholm in my opinion, you can’t miss it if you happen to visit one day!
