Favourites From Bali

After visiting Bali for the first time ever last year (right before Christmas and my trip to Australia to be exact) I didn't think I would return anytime soon. Not because I didn't like it (!), only because the trip is quite long and I didn't think the opportunity to go would come around anytime soon. But when trying to plan a Christmas (read vacation) together with your family who is pretty much all over the place with myself in Paris, a sister is in Australia and two divorced parents in Stockholm, you apparently end up in Bali.

Eventually it was decided. Almost a week together with my sister and my dad in one place, then a couple of days together with my sister in a second location, only to finish the off the trip with some time together with my sister and mum at a final destination. Phew!

When I understood that Bali was back on the map I made sure to squeeze in a few days together with my sister at the beautiful Mulia hotel, which we stayed in last year (gosh, I can't believe it's already been a whole year...) when I visited Bali for the very first time. Last time I completely fell in love with this place (and the people) and I was incredibly excited to return once again. The fact that the hotel is crazy photogenic is also lots of fun for someone like me and kept me busy in between eating and relaxing on the sun beds.
