New Favourite

I don’t even know how to start this sentence in a way you haven’t heard a million times already. I want to write something like “I’ve never liked winter…” or “As you know, I’m not the biggest fan of the winter season…” but I think you would get at least 34 hits if you search for those words on this website. So… Let’s make it 35.

As you know, I’ve never liked winter. Buuuut, after spending some time in Rome during this winter season – and after being lucky enough to get lots and lots of sunshine lately – I’ve fallen in love. Yup. You’ve heard me correctly. I’ve fallen in love with the winter season in Rome. On sunny days of course. Rainy & grey winter is still not my thing.

Now, if you ask me what my favourite season for Rome is, the answer is way longer and a bit more complicated than before, haha. I would say winter – if it’s sunny, that is. But also autumn & spring if it’s beautiful weather… So I guess you could say that good weather is my favourite season?
