Market Day

I’ve found the cutest little market that I now swing by whenever I need to stock up on veggies and fruit. I thought I would miss my weekend market runs, which became a little tradition, while in Lisbon (which is still very much the case by the way) but finding this local gem in Rome has made it a little bit easier. It’s so important to find “your” places, which you can return to on a regular basis to feel as though you “belong”, whenever in a new place. Eventually people start to recognise your face, say hi and ask little questions. And that feeling of having someone knowing you in a new place, is just so lovely. My places to find whenever I arrive to a new place usually includes: market, coffee shop/café, a bakery and a little wine shop if I’m lucky.
