The Moroccan Desert
Hot in here...
Shot in a 42 degree heat, in the middle of the Moroccan desert, wearing the new "Cactus de Cartier" collection by Cartier. Honestly I'm just happy that I didn't pass out on these rocks and actually made it through the shoot (and the fact that you can't see the sweat dripping down my body) but it was such fun photographing the collection in the same environment it was inspired by.
I'm not the biggest fan of switching it up and ending up in front of the camera instead of behind it (and I honestly just run past most photo calls during events etc. since I think it's just too uncomfortable) but when I have my dear Hana behind the lens (or my darling Katie for example) things seem a bit less uncomfortable. Although in this case the uncomfortableness didn't really leave me at all due to the heat and the fact that the security guard (who I'm sure I flashed about six times) had to stay close by to keep an eye on the jewellery. Anyway, I'm not sure how we ended up with these photos under the circumstances but thanks to Hana sweating her little butt off we managed!
Thank you again Cartier for having us, it was an unforgettable experience.
